Running trivia nights involves real materials, including printed host booklets, answer sheets, and registration forms. We do not claim to remove that impact entirely. Instead, we focus on practical choices within our control and review our own operations as the business evolves.
Powering our operations
Pub Trivia Australia operates using an on-site solar and battery power system.
Generating and storing our own electricity helps reduce reliance on grid power for our day-to-day business operations. It is one practical way we can reduce the environmental impact of running the business while continuing to support venues around Australia.
Thoughtful use of paper and printing
We understand that many venues and trivia hosts need printed materials to run a smooth event. While our Big Screen Trivia products are supplied digitally, hosts will often print answer booklets, registration forms and other game materials for use on the night.
For our office use, answer pads and registration forms, we choose FSC-certified paper. FSC certification supports responsible forest management and gives us greater confidence in the source of the paper products we use.
We also use double-sided printing wherever practical to reduce unnecessary paper consumption.
Reducing waste in our office
Small operational choices add up over time. In our office, we use recycled paper products and recycle eligible materials, including printer cartridges and batteries.
These actions are not a substitute for larger environmental change, but they are part of how we aim to run a responsible business day to day.
